PaidSurveyFinder

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 18, 2026

What we collect, how we use it, how our advertising and measurement tools work, and how to control your information.

1. Overview

This policy explains what information PaidSurveyFinder collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and member accounts.

We are an independent directory of publicly listed paid research opportunities. When you apply to a study, you leave our site and the sponsor's own privacy practices apply to whatever you share with them.

2. Information you give us

  • Account information: email address and authentication details (including sign-in through Google, if you choose it).
  • Profile details you enter to match studies: age or date of birth, gender, city, state and ZIP code, and study-type preferences.
  • Activity in your account: studies you save and settings you change.
  • Billing information for paid memberships. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Messages you send us for support.

3. Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and pages viewed.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure site performance, and measure advertising.

4. How we use information

  • Provide the service: create your account, match listings to your profile, and unlock member features.
  • Process payments, renewals and cancellations.
  • Improve the directory, fix problems, and understand which features members use.
  • Send service and account emails, and marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  • Advertise our service and measure whether our ads work.
  • Prevent abuse, protect security, and comply with legal obligations.

5. Advertising and measurement (Google and Meta)

We advertise PaidSurveyFinder on platforms including Google (Search, Display and YouTube) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). To do this we use their advertising and measurement technologies on our site, which may include Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags, and the Meta Pixel or Conversions API.

These tools set cookies or similar identifiers and share limited event data with Google and Meta — for example that a visitor viewed the pricing page, signed up, or purchased a membership, along with device, browser and IP-derived information. That data is used to measure ad performance, build audiences, and show you our ads on other sites and apps. We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your study applications or profile answers with advertising platforms for their own independent use.

Google and Meta act as our service providers or processors for measurement, and in some cases as independent controllers of the data they collect through their own platforms. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies.

  • Opt out of personalized Google ads at myadcenter.google.com and adssettings.google.com.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Adjust Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings under Ads.
  • Use industry opt-out pages at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com, plus your browser's cookie controls and any "Global Privacy Control" signal it sends.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and security, preference cookies to remember choices, analytics cookies to understand usage, and advertising cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the site may not work as intended without the necessary ones.

7. Who we share information with

We do not send your profile details to study sponsors. Any information a sponsor receives comes from you when you apply on their site.

  • Service providers that host our site and database, process payments, send email, and provide analytics and advertising measurement.
  • Advertising platforms, limited to the conversion and audience data described in section 5.
  • Legal and safety recipients, when required by law or to protect our rights, members or the public.
  • A successor entity, if our business is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

8. Retention

We keep account and profile information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile, saved studies and login record, and retain only what we need for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be kept longer.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of personal information for that purpose, and to appeal a decision about your request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

You can edit or clear most profile details yourself in your account. To request deletion or exercise any other right, email support@paidsurveyfinder.com from your account email address and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

10. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, and per-user database rules so members can only reach their own records. No online service can be completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us if you suspect a problem with your account.

11. Children

The service is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International visitors

We operate in the United States, and our service providers may process information there. If you access the service from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States under this policy.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you on the site or by email.
